Planning in guildford

Our group is made up of a group of residents from different areas of Guildford from a broad range of backgrounds from design to civil engineering. Our aim is to ensure that all new development puts the ecological and climate emergency front and centre of the planning process - with particular consideration of biodiversity and climate change adaptation, as well as considering the best possible living environment for the community. We welcome the consultation process as a way to get things right from the beginning and draw on the best designs drawing inspiration from traditional building practices and modern technology. We hope that this will be a bold new step and set Guildford on the map as a leader in world class town planning - and provide an example for others to follow.
If you'd like to join our planning team on the email below, and help us in our quest to stop so much environmental destruction, and poor planning decisions, drop us an email. It doesn't involve much of a time committment, usually 2 hours per month, and we usually meet by zoom every 4-5 weeks.
